I ship lps in professional lp mailers with a sandwich of filler cardboard on both sides of the record for added stiffness. I also ship the vinyl outside the lp jacket to ensure no seam splits. After professionally cleaning the vinyl with a VPI record cleaning machine, I put the cleaned vinyl in a fresh sleeve and house the jacket in a new protective sleeve that seals so that no dust can enter. It’s what I do for my lp collection and so do the same for the new owner of the lp for sale.
