As anyone who follows my eBay listings will know, I almost NEVER sell tubes made in China. This is a different situation. First of all, the Shuguang company is the most respected Chinese tube manufacturer. And second of all, these tubes are truly wonderful. Extremely low noise, with excellent gain and tone.Let me give you a little history on the Shuguang company, which started making tubes in 1958, and about this batch of tubes. This is one of the few TRUE 7025 (Not a relabeled 12AX7) tubes that have been recently manufactured. The Shuguang company is a highly respected Chinese tube factory. There was a huge fire in the building next to the Shuguang factory in August 2019. The Shuguang company has still been unable to produce tubes as of this date.THESE TUBES WERE OBTAINED BY MY SUPPLIER FROM THE SHUGUANG COMPANY AFTER THE FIRE AND BEFORE THEY WERE MARKED. HOWEVER, EVEN THOUGH UNMARKED, THESE ARE GENUINE SHUGUANG 7025 TUBES. BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF MARKINGS, I WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE 100 OF THESE TUBES AT A LOW PRICE. THEREFORE, I AM ABLE TO OFER THESE UNMARKED TUBES TO MY EBAY CUSTOMERS ALSO AT A LOW COST.This is an EXTRA LOW NOISE, HIGH GAIN TUBE. Therefore, this tube is an excellent replacement for the preamp tubes in Fender and other similar guitar amplifiers.Other tube companies simply change the markings on 12AX7 tubes to read « 7025 » but the performance of these relabeled 12AX7’s is inferior to these genuine 7025 tubes.Because this is a high gain, low noise tube with a short plate for reduced microphonics it is excellent for use in high gain Fender and Marshall pre-amplifier circuits where noise and microphonics can be a problem.These are also excellent in vintage and reissue Fender Amps. Most of these amps call for 7025 tubes, but in the past 7025 tubes were difficult to find and musicians simply installed 12AX7’s instead of 7025 tubes. Now with these Shuguang 7025 tubes, all that has changed.
