The ‘Original’ Nintendo 3DS XL (2012) lot contains the following:‘Original’ Nintendo 3DS XL console with specialized wrap* – SEE BELOW AND REVIEW PHOTOS BEFORE PURCHASINGNintendo OEM AC Adapter for 3DS family of consoles (including this unit)Super Mario Bros Themed protective travel casePoptropica Forgotten Islands for 3DS – CIB The Trash Pack for 3DS – loose (cartridge only)*Super Card 464 game for DS* – see below, spoiler alert, there’s only 100+ games, not 400+, and they’re DS…not 3DS…but they ALL rock!AR Games AR Card PackVery eroded/worn “grip” for comfort playing* – SEE BELOW AND REVIEW PHOTOS BEFORE PURCHASING OF NOTE (the bad):Unit is the 3DSXL that came out in 2012, withOUT extra horsepower, nubstick, or improved eye-tracking. The unit does NOT have IPS screens.The unit has been covered in a decal/wrap (sticker), meant to emulate an NES, that was custom designed and computer cut but still ill-fitting to eliminate visibility of the original shell underneath…which was pink as you can likely tell in the photos. This was further accented with marker applications applied to the visibly pink areas (which have all but worn off but are still somewhat visible) and some artistic flourishes at the camera lenses to simulate eyelashes. So now it’s meant to emulate a Rob the Robot essentially,The grip is all but gripped to death, and is disintegrating likely from cheap silicone used as the finish to the hardened plastic. That said, it can likely be salvaged with either some paint or a sandblaster. Including because I won’t have a use for it without a 3DSXL when this 3DSXL sells.The Trash Pack cart can be a pain to get to register. Only including it because someone gave it to me and it worked fine at the time. When testing this was the ONLY cart / device that gave problem but would work upon repeated attempts. Maybe just needs a cleaning. OF NOTE (the good):This unit has a very sturdy hinge and feels nice and tight overall. Given its age, it has NOT been used as frequently as it could have and all buttons push and feel really clean.The unit was once jailbroken and functioned fine on CFW but is now back to OFW. I will not re-jailbreak do not ask. I mention as a possibility for your use, at your risk, upon your purchase.The cart for the DS games requires no jailbreak AND works OFFICIALLY. Pop it in, and if you see Spongebob like in this this video, you’re good to go. There’s NOT 400+ games, only a little over 100+ games, all from the DS era, but all titles are visible in the video if you pay attention, and they’re all bangers. You’re welcome! RECOMMENDED FOR: Persons who need a bigger 3DS screen in their life and do NOT care about eye-tracking or maybe not even 3D for that matter. People looking to jumpstart their regular DS library with a 3DS. People who like stickers on pink things. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR: Macho types. Or nerds who think they’re macho. NN3DS snobs who complain « where’s the nub? » OF NOTE (final): This is a unit with accessories in very good functional condition, with somewhat easy to fix anomalies…if you even need to because it’s kind of charming.
