No stickers or bag. ‘Pol Anglada: Hole’ was recently on view at CultureEdit Gallery, Los Angeles, CA (2022). »FREE TIME » is a book from Spanish illustrator and Paris-based fashion designer Pol Anglada. Since a very early age Pol has always filled his free time with drawings. To the present not much has changed, Pol juggles full-time working as a women’s RTW designer and through his illustration questions aesthetics.FREE TIME is a selection of drawings connected by looks through male beauty. FREE TIME is a collective created by parisian studio Faye and Gina and catalan illustrator Pol Anglada. Based on a shared appreciation for printed editions, fanzines, DIY, merchandising, and the need to create, the trio published the limited-edition zine with Anglada’s original blue pencil drawings inspired by male beauty. The self-edited project represented a frame to explore creativity produced during one’s free time. It is evident that how they choose to spend their time outside of modern world responsibilities demonstrates a great deal about their individual character and constitutes one of the most significant forces for personal growth. With this in mind, the trio brought the project to a larger scale and launched FREE TIME magazine in 2019. Pol Anglada is a Catalonian illustrator and Paris-based fashion designer. The artist is known for his queer, tongue-in-cheek drawings, which come sexually-charged, full of humor, and in some cases, definitely NSFW. Since a very early age Pol has always filled his free time with drawings. To the present not much has changed, Pol juggles full-time working as a women’s RTW designer and through his illustration questions aesthetics.
