‘Running Before’ Limited Edition etching print number 32 from a small edition of 80 impressions drawn and etched by Simon Winch d.1994, artist, sailor and print maker, Simon lived in Swanage, Dorset, he produced etchings in small editions which are rarely available and thus his work is much in demand. This miniature atmospheric etching has retained its excellent colouring, bright and unfaded, with textures and plate tone, in green/grey ink, the image printed within an impression measuring approximately 13 cm x 4 cm (5 x 1½ ins.) Printed on a wove paper sheet size 25 cm x 15 cm (10 x 6 ins.) signed and titled in pencil by the artist with the annotation; 32/80, in pencil. Unframed and unmounted, the condition of the image and sheet is good, with handling marks condusive with age.
