This is the ultimate pre-wired premium Telecaster harness with either a 3-way or 4-way switch, choose regular layout (switch at the front) or Reversed (volume at the front and switch at the back) PLEASE NOTE: If you are purchasing a 4-way harness, Your neck pickup has to have a minimum of 2 wires. If your neck pickup has a single braided wire, it won’t work in a 4-way, however it will work in a 3-way harness. These loaded harness is professionally built with top quality electronics and the best hardware available. They are fully assembled and are ready to drop straight in to your Telecaster. AVAILABLE IN CHROME, NICKEL, BLACK OR GOLD FINISH. WD Music developed these high-quality solid shaft Pots with CTS, to offer you exceptional performance in electronics for your guitar. These are not the same CTS Pots that other companies’ stock and sell. These are developed using 9% +/- tolerances and a value at 10% over the standard 250k rating (275K). This ensures you, not only optimum performance but guarantees your potentiometers will always be the value stated unlike many others using 20% tolerances where you can be over spec, but in most cases way under the specifications you need, to ensure good tone from your pickups. They added high quality Brass components and a high-quality wiper versus what comes standard with most run of the mill pots to ensure long life, quality and consistent performance. I also offer this item with a choice of capacitors. In my Teles, I use the .033uf Mallory Mustard Tone cap. Why use a .033 tone cap? The .047 gets things pretty dark and takes off too much of the highs. The .022 can be too bright. The .033 would get you in the middle naturally and strikes a good compromise between both worlds. The .033uf is my choice for a Tele harness (not just with Mallory, but with all tone cap manufacturers I prefer a .033) The .033 tone control is far more useable than a .047. However, if your playing Jazz music, I would stick with the .047uf cap. All other styles of music, I would go with a .033uf cap. I have only recently started using the Mallory cap and it has quickly become my favorite. The clean bell tones that come out of them, no matter what position the tone control knob is in. Compared to Orange Drops, the Mallory Mustard Caps are smoother, cleaner with a bell like tone and when you roll the tone down, the Mallory doesn’t get muddy and dark like the Orange Drop. If you prefer the .047uf cap, the Mallory sounds much better than the Orange Drop. A link to my on-line wiring diagrams.
