Makers, Classical Style STERLING SILVER Letter Opener / Paper Knife. This wonderful Desk Item by Tiffany & Co. New York, features a beautifully engraved blade that reads; « REPLICA of LORD NELSONS SWORD » and on the other side « THE HONERABLE RALPH H. DEMMLER » The Honorable Ralph H. Demmler was the chairman of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission under the Eisenhower administration. The top of the blade is impress marked, « TIFFANY & Co., MAKERS, 56648 M » The Sword Handle is beautifully detailed with a relief Lions Head and trailing mane as well as an anchor Armorial shield on either side. as shown in pictures.
