VINTAGE 1980s BROWN EMBOSSED ELEPHANT LEATHER MACBOOK PRO HARDSIDE BRIEFCASE BAG R$2498 My bags are the antidote for the poly-lined synthetic leather run-of-the-mill bags being produced in China. Most of my bags are full-grain leather; Artisan craft, with authentic distressed character, and many with modifications unique to our line. We only use high-grade men’s belts for shoulder straps. This leather is reminiscent of equestrian leather halter straps. I also use half-centimeter thick mooseskin. Nothing wimpy here; quality and character that stands out and that will stand the test of a truly rugged lifestyle. Invest in a bag that you’ll love more and more over time. Not all leather bags are created the same. A great quality leather bag is supposed to look better with time as the leather acquires marks and age-related wear. Make sure to check out my whole store. At the time of this listing, I have 171 items all unique vintage pieces. Many with added Mooseskin handles; my « trademark » unique idea. Once you have tried it you will wonder how you functioned before without an inside handle. Also on many of my briefcases, I add a mooseskin handle wrap. The handle is the point of contact that the owner has with their bag and moose skin is so pleasing to touch. My philosophy in writing descriptions is: a picture speaks 1000 words. That said, here is my description: — What I love about this wonderfully like new briefcase from the 1980s The way this case is 4 inches at the bottom but tapers to 3 inches on the handle side of the case. Room for all your gear but with a more sleek design; unique to the 1980’s. 🙂It is like new. I have reconditioned the Elephant embossed leather. I cannot find a flaw on it. Imagine that, a case has been preserved for 40+ years, probably being preserved in the back of someone’s closet, – in a box, just waiting for someone who would make it their daily case for a MacBook in 2020s. (For those of you who do use a MacBook, this means this case was made before or just after the release of the first Mac which was released January 24, 1984) 😜I love that the briefcase looks like it is made of Elephant leather.It is either made in the USA or Switzerland. The locks are made by Swiss lock maker Amiiet.I love the brass Amiiet Combination Spring Locks. I think the way they spring up so quickly but are designed to spring to a 90-degree angle is so unique. I also like that the combinations are on little wheels below the locks; a very streamlined look.Has two inside snap pockets. These can easily be made to be slip-pockets for a larger phone by tucking in the snap flap inside the pocket portion. Lined in Suede.Four brass feet.I have added a vintage oval luggage tag that has a blank indentification badge inside. I have used a piece of deerskin and with my simple but sleek design, the tag hangs flat on either side of the briefcase. One of my pet peeves is luggage tags that are tight to the handle with a buckle.
