Description: The item up for bids is a vintage Målerås cast glass sculpture by Swedish artist Erika Höglund. It is a solid block of colorless full lead crystal with an ethereal blue floating female form. The glass block has an eccentric rectangular shape and the form is hollowed out from the back. It is signed with a Målerås logo paper label, and there is an engraved signature on the bottom that reads E. Höglund, Målerås, 25002. It’s a striking piece of vintage Swedish glass, have some fun and bid! Dimensions: It measures about 5-1/4″ tall. The base is about 2-1/4″ wide by 1-3/8″ deep. It weighs about 660 grams (almost 1-1/2 pounds). (Note: measurements are approximate) Condition: It is in good vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. It shows very slight handling wear with a few tiny light scratches. The glass is crystal clear and the blue is sublime. The paper label is partially detached. It presents well and is suitable for display. The pictures are the best indicator as to condition, please use the zoom feature and check them out.
